The last couple of weeks I was waiting for a Unicorn to cross my path. For him to stand there and wait for me to take his picture. I was waiting for a thunderstorm with a plenitude of lightning to come and let me takes its picture. I was waiting for court side seats to capture athletes in their all glorious sweaty movements. I was waiting to feel depressed enough to be able to capture an awe-inspiring view. That was my problem, that word. That word that can cripple an artist. Inspiration is something you wait for. It impales you from moving forward. It can have a hold on your mind and soul. I regrettably took a hiatus from posting pictures because I was waiting on inspiration to show me where to go, what to do, and to come up with a frame I didn’t cruelly judge to be inadequate for the photographer I want to be. I realized that no one starts out perfect, and so instead of waiting for inspiration, I decided to add a new word on my wall – perseverance.
Conquer the world!!!
